100 Scholarly Works on SSRN
I am pleased to share that my SSRN Author Page has reached 100 scholarly submissions.
These include law review articles, peer-reviewed journal articles, books, book chapters, working papers, conference papers, and other scholarly contributions produced over more than twenty-five years of academic research.
This number does not represent the entirety of my scholarly output. While it includes a small number of duplicate entries reflecting different versions or publication formats, some of my books, journal articles, and book chapters cannot be deposited on SSRN because of publishersβ copyright restrictions. Nevertheless, SSRN provides what I believe is one of the most comprehensive and accessible windows into the evolution of my research, interdisciplinary interests, and academic journey over the years.
More Than Numbers
I am also pleased to see that my work is approaching 35,000 downloads on SSRN. While metrics are never the primary objective of academic research, they are nonetheless encouraging, as they reflect the continued dissemination of scholarship, its capacity to foster discussion, and its reach across disciplines, institutions, and countries.
For me, SSRN has never been merely a repository of papers. Throughout my academic career, it has been an essential platform for sharing ideas, receiving early feedback, promoting open scholarship, and making research more broadly accessible to scholars, students, practitioners, policymakers, and the public worldwide.
An Interdisciplinary Research Journey
Looking back across these 100 submissions, I see the development of an interdisciplinary research agenda that has gradually expanded across numerous interconnected fields, including:
- Environmental and Climate Change Law
- Energy Law and Energy Governance
- Sustainable Development
- Business and Commercial Law
- Constitutional and Administrative Law
- Intellectual Property Law
- Technology Law
- Artificial Intelligence and AI Governance
- Global Governance
- International Law
- Comparative Law
- International Economic Law
- International Trade and WTO Law
- Law, Science, and Technology
- Interdisciplinary Legal Studies
Although these areas may appear distinct, my work has consistently explored the intersections among law, governance, technological innovation, environmental sustainability, international cooperation, and economic development.
Gratitude
No academic journey is undertaken alone.
I am grateful to my colleagues, students, editors, institutions, and readers whose comments, collaborations, constructive criticism, and intellectual engagement have continuously improved my research over the years.
I also wish to acknowledge the many universities and institutions that have supported my research throughout different stages of my career and have helped foster an environment where interdisciplinary scholarship could flourish.
Looking Ahead
I sincerely hope that SSRN will continue to thrive as one of the worldβs leading open scholarly repositories. Platforms that facilitate the free exchange of ideas and the dissemination of research remain essential for advancing knowledge, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthening the global academic community.
As my research continues to evolve, I look forward to sharing future publications, working papers, books, collaborative projects, and new ideas with colleagues around the world.
